Visiting the Fellowship
If you−as an individual or a family−are looking for a spiritual home, UUFR may be just the place for you. We are a friendly, caring, open-minded religious community, and we welcome visitors warmly. At the same time, we will not pressure you. Take some time to get to know us, and we hope you will find that UUFR is where you belong.
To learn more about our congregation, we suggest that you: - Attend a Sunday worship service. Greeters will welcome you at the door and answer your questions. After service we invite you to join us for coffee and more conversation.
- Attend a Youth Religious Education or Adult Education class or discussion.
- On alternate Sundays, our minister Rev. Tom Rhodes leads a brief welcome session for newcomers following the 11 a.m. service.
- In the downstairs lobby of Fellowship Hall you will find our bi-monthly newsletter, The Chalice, literature about Unitarian Universalism, and information about upcoming events and other activities. Feel free to ask questions; we pride ourselves on our openness and friendliness!
With a few exceptions, all of our services and programs are open to the public. Many of our events are appropriate for people of all ages; for others childcare is available. As you become more interested in our Fellowship, please consider attending an Intro to UUFR Class. These quarterly classes provide an in-depth look at UUFR and at our Unitarian Universalist beliefs.
