Charles Howe. Each book costs $16 and is available from the UUA bookstore. Facilitators: Lynda Hambourger, Ellen MacMillan, Christine Tew. A Complaint Free World. The ARE Committee invites you to view the informative and touching movie A Complaint Free Revolution. In July 2006, Will Bowen handed out 250 purple bracelets as part of a program to help people eradicate complaining (criticizing and gossiping) from their lives. Within months, the idea exploded around the world as millions of purple bracelets were requested in over 105 countries and featured on national media. Maya Angelou received the 6 millionth bracelet and is spotlighted in the movie, along with children, teens, college students, employees, business owners, spiritual leaders and senior citizens who have transformed their lives by becoming complaint free. The film covers what complaining is, why it is destructive and why we do it and offers practical advice for becoming happier and more positive. Wednesday April 14, 7:00-8:30 p.m., Clara Barton Room. Film showing followed by brief discussion. Purple Bracelet provided! No registration required. Contact: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
