Cakes for the Queen of Heaven, Part 2

“Cakes for the Queen of Heaven,” Part 2, continues an exploration of feminist theology through the stories of powerful women in Judaism and Christianity. The program focuses on how patriarchy came to dominate those and other religious traditions and how women today are reclaiming their power. The program meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays at 7 to 8:30 pm (room TBA) starting in January. The dates are: January 10 &24, February 14 & 28, March 13 & 27. Though these six sessions will build on Part I, the ancient roots of goddess religions, other women are welcome to join us for Part 2, space permitting. Register by December 15 here as space is limited. For more information contact Karen Matteson: kkmatteson@att.net.
