The festivities are ON! Saturday, December 23, 1 – 4 pm. You are invited to Rocky Ridge (our CSA partner farmers, Steve & Elke, 135 Rocky Ridge, Louisburg) … for a U-Pick of collards and kale! You are welcome to take the organically grown produce home, or to pass it on to food insecure seniors through senior services / food pantries! Hot chocolate or cider to warm your hands and nurture your harvesting soul! Optional possibilities … Help spread a bit of mulch or wood chips along garlic rows for a spring bumper crop! … or another task of which a farm has no end! Leave a donation for your tasty harvest Someone is welcome to bring a guitar for a few shared songs! Ride sharing encouraged – please arrange independently.
