As we enter the heart of our ministerial search, we’re excited to share that the UUFR Congregational Survey will open on Friday, August 15th.
This is one of the most important opportunities for every member, friend, and visitor of UUFR to contribute to the search process. The survey is your chance to reflect on who we are as a community, what we value, and what we need in our next ministry.
Our goal is 250+ responses! Everyone in every household should respond. The more voices we hear, the more clearly we can speak about our congregation’s present and future.
Look out for the survey link in email and on our website. Paper copies will able be available. And thank you for being part of this journey with us.
Your Search Team has customized the UUA’s typical ministerial survey to reflect UUFR’s unique voice, experience, and hopes. The survey includes questions about identity, values, worship, community life, and ministry priorities. It was created to reflect our context and culture.
The survey is anonymous. Please be bold, honest, and hopeful.
As you prepare to take the survey, we invite you to begin thinking about two key questions that will appear:
These questions are invitations to engage deeply with our shared story and spiritual journey.
Your responses will directly inform:
Great question! Searching Circles are small-group conversations open to everyone in the community. They’re designed to help us:
They’ll begin in September and will provide a more relational space to go deeper with the themes that emerge.
This is a moment of reflection, an opportunity to look honestly at who we are, what we’re proud of, and where we feel called to grow. Your voice will help shape not only our search for a new minister, but the future we’re building together.
In shared purpose and deep gratitude,
The UUFR Ministerial Search Team
