We want to share a brief update on the Lead Minister Search process.
We are pleased to share that we have received 12 ministerial applications for our Lead Minister position. This level of interest is encouraging and we’re grateful for the care and thought each applicant has already put into discerning a possible call with our congregation.
The Search Team is now beginning the next phase of our work. Over the coming weeks, we will be carefully reviewing ministerial records, listening to sermons, checking references, and holding initial interviews.
As part of this process, we expect to narrow the field to three candidates for further discernment by the end of the month. We will continue evaluating in February and March until we determine a final candidate to present to the congregation in April.
While we’re not able to share applicants’ names or specific details at this stage, we can say that we are encouraged by the strength of the applicant pool and are approaching this phase with care, thoughtfulness, and excitement.
