UUFR needs your help to find people affected by the shortage of affordable housing in Wake County. ONE Wake would like to find a total of 400 such folks to attend a large meeting on September 19th, so that the County Commissioners and City Councilors can hear their stories, see their faces, and see the real impact of the lack of affordable housing in our communities. Network with your friends, colleagues, other fellowship members, recent graduates searching for that first job, teachers—anyone potentially affected by the need for affordable housing. To be clear, this Invitation cannot provide any needed housing but can help obtain city and county funding to provide additional affordable housing in the future.
UUFR’s listening sessions will be held on the following dates:
Wednesday June 10 7:00 – 8:00 PM at UUFR
Saturday June 13 10 – 11 AM at UUFR
Monday June 22 8:00 – 9:00 PM via Zoom
Sunday June 28 12:00 – 1:00 PM at UUFR
