In the summer our Family Ministry transitions to lighter programming, but we still we meet every Sunday!
Programming for infants to 8th graders will be offered every Sunday during service at 10:30 a.m.
Please read for important dates and program offerings from June through August.
We’ll resume programming at two services on September 13th with the Water Communion!
Crawlers to 5 year olds:
Our Nursery and Sunshine Circle will continue throughout the summer.
Peace Hall Projects for 1st – 5th graders:
We will meet in 201 Peace Hall to work on a variety of projects including baking casseroles, dance parties and learning about wildlife!
Middle School Youth Group:
Rising 6 – 8th graders will meet in the teen cave during service for games and fun conversation. In July the group will pilot our new UU curriculum called Mosaic to learn about anti-racism & multiculturalism.
Youth Group for 9th – 12th graders:
High Schoolers will meet from 11:45 – 12:45 p.m. until June 7th then take a summer break until August 9th. Each session we’ll meet in the Teen Cave for joys and sorrows, silly games, and conversations.
Children 4 and up are invited for a full service celebration of the milestone moments our children and teens are experiencing. We will recognize rising 1st, 6th, and 9th graders and graduating seniors and hear reflections from children and teens on life lessons they’ve learned growing into new phases of life.
….And then we’ll enjoy cake after church!
Families will start together in service for a backpack blessing before school begins….and then we’ll enjoy Sundaes after church!

Families are invited to bring a bottle of water from somewhere special they spent their summer for a special gathering ritual to start our new programming year.
This year we’d like to invite families with 5th graders and younger to gather today in 201 Peace Hall for a special kick off event! We’ll sing and light a chalice together then children can play on our new playground with popsicles while parents get a chance to hear about our programs and connect together. Afterwards everyone is invited to our first Saturday Social Potluck of the year!
