Intentionally Inclusive, Liberally Religious, Actively Serving the Common Good

We are Raleigh’s liberal church!

We are an intergenerational community of many backgrounds and beliefs. We are passionate about growing spiritually and working for love and justice in our shared world.

Whoever you are and wherever you are on your own religious journey, you are welcome here.

What makes Unitarian Universalism similar to and different from other religious traditions?

Reverend Dr. James Kubal-Komoto, Lead Minister, and Reverend Sasha Ostrom, Assistant Minister.

We try to make things as clear and easy as possible for visitors to get involved in our congregation.

Sunday, June 16, “A Juneteenth Celebration” with Rev. Dr. James Kubal-Komoto and Lay Speakers

This morning Rev. James and several lay speakers reflect on the meaning of Juneteenth, a holiday that celebrates the challenges Black Americans have overcome as well as the challenges our nation stills faces in embracing all of its citizens. Immediately following the service, we will hang a Black Lives Matter flag outside our building. Following that, there will be a potluck celebration in Founders’ Hall.

To sign up to bring something to the potluck, visit here.

To submit a joy or sorrow to be shared during the worship service, visit  here.

To watch the meeting on YouTube, live or later, visit here.

(This page will be updated on June 19  for the following Sunday’s service.)
