UUFR 2024 Auction!

Get Ready for UUFR’s 46th Annual Auction, Saturday, Oct. 26th, 2024!

This year’s auction will be LIVE, with a concurrent silent auction. Refreshments start at 6pm, and the live auction begins at 7pm with your host, David Ostergaard!

There also will be opportunities to bid online for selected items in the days leading up to the event.

HERE’S WHAT YOU CAN DO, RIGHT NOW, TO GET READY:

1. VISIT the auction website. The website is open only to take auction donations at this time.

2. SELECT “Sign In” at top. If you have signed in for past auctions, double-check your existing information and payment methods. If you are new to the auction, you will have the opportunity to create an account.

3. MAKE YOUR DONATION. Select “Donations Page” at top, then enter information for the item(s) you would like to donate. DONATION DEADLINE IS WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 25th.

To refresh the memories of past donors, we have created a PDF of LAST YEAR’S auction catalog. Please use this, if needed, as a reference for your descriptions.

IDEAS FOR AUCTION DONATIONS

Host a dinner, lunch, brunch or breakfast at your home, or at UUFR: we can underwrite a portion of your expenses. Suggest date(s) and we’ll discuss to avoid overlap.

Donate a service: house cleaning, yard work, child care, car detailing, resume writing, tutoring, computer training—if you have a skill, we can use it!

Donate a unique item for our silent auction: gift baskets, paintings, framed photos, a book you’ve written, or other tabletop-sized items will be considered.

Ask your favorite restaurant, store, gym or hair stylist to donate a service or a gift card.

OTHER WAYS TO PARTICIPATE:

We welcome you to provide hors d’eouvres for auction night. Because we’ll be upstairs in the Sanctuary, rather than downstairs near the kitchen, we ask for finger foods at room temperature. We also welcome helpers who can rotate in and out of service during the auction! Please see the signup form for ideas on what to bring.

During the live bidding, we’ll also need spotters, runners and other assistants who can help with the silent auction and other activities. Please send an email to  and we’ll talk about what you can do to make the auction a success!

The UUFR Auction Committee, Robin Kitson, Linda Liles, David Ostergaard, David Potorti, Jim VanKirk, Eve Zamora, and Lewis Copulsky (staff liaison).
