Dana oversees UUFR’s Family Ministry program which supports and nurtures children and youth from birth to 18 years old and their families.
Raised a Unitarian Universalist, Dana has worked on staff coordinating and teaching children and youth at the First Unitarian Church of Rochester, New York, and the Unitarian Universalist Community Church of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Having earned a Master of Science in Education, she also has experience teaching middle school and high school math. She is over the moon grateful she had the opportunity to join the staff at UUFR in 2022.
Dana lives with her husband and daughter in Pittsboro at the North Carolina Zen Center. In her free time she practices Zen and enjoys romping in the woods with her family.

“To me it is the greatest honor to share in the mystery, wonder, and quirkiness of the world with children and youth; it is my most joyous spiritual practice. We are blessed with a faith tradition that gifts families with the love and support to grow through questioning and serving this world..“
