Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) is a means of exercising agency and reducing unnecessary suffering at the end of life within appropriate medical and legal safeguards. Elder Support Ministry is providing an educational session presented by Jane Hunt, who on behalf of the Care Team has petitioned UUFR’s Board of Directors to issue a Statement of Conscience on MAID.
The meeting will be held on Sunday, February 15 at 1:00 pm after service in Room 201 (Clara Barton) Peace Hall. Feel free to bring a brown bag lunch and drink.
