Election Day and Day-After-the Election Activities

When

November 5, 2024 - November 6, 2024
All Day

Election Day will be a stressful day for many of us, and it is unlikely we will know the results of the election by the end of the day.

On Election Day, Tuesday, November 5, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., UUFR will have a 20’x30′ portable labyrinth available to walk in Founders Hall. Walking a labyrinth is a spiritual practice known to help people feel more grounded and centered in times of stress.

On the day after the election, Wednesday, November 6, from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m., the labyrinth will be available to walk in the sanctuary. The sanctuary will also be open for anyone who would like to sit in silence.

Wednesday evening, November 6, at 6 p.m. we will hold our usual Wednesday night dinner. To sign up, visit uufr.org/wnd by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, November 4.

Wednesday evening, November 6,  at 7 p.m., Rev. James and Rev. Carrie will host a time for people to gather together, reflect together, and listen to one another.

Wednesday evening, November 6,  at 7 p.m., youth group advisor Em Puertolas will host a time for teens to gather, wear their pajamas, watch a silly movie, and eat snacks.

Rev. James and Rev. Carrie will also be available for individual appointments after the election for anyone who would like to talk privately. You can contact them at or to schedule an appointment.
