Our Whole Lives helps participants make informed and responsible decisions about their relationships, sexual health and behavior. With a holistic approach, Our Whole Lives provides accurate, developmentally appropriate information about a range of topics, including relationships, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, sexual health, and cultural influences on sexuality.
OWL programs are one of our communities most beloved programs for children and youth because of the comprehensive and high quality curriculum.
Here are some important details:
Class sizes are limited: To build a quality community of learners, we need to limit of class sizes for each program. If a class runs out of space your child will be placed on a waiting list. Please know that families that are members of UUFR are prioritized for space in a class.
Caregiver Orientations are Required for Participation: The OWL program affirms caregivers as their children’s primary sexuality educators. Therefore we require all caregivers to attend the OWL orientation to ensure they understand the content and know how to support the learning process at home.
Attendance is Required: To provide a safe, supportive learning environment, it is important that all participants make a commitment to attend all the dates of the program barring sickness or family emergencies.
We ask that that for elementary OWL classes families agree to no more than one planned absence, 8th & 9th grade OWL classes families agree to no more than four planned absences, and 10-12th grade OWL classes families agree to no more than two planned absences.

These classes will be held 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Required caregiver orientation: February 9th at 12:30 p.m.
Classes: Feb 16, Feb 23, Mar 2, Mar 9, Mar 16, Mar 23, Apr 13, Apr 20, Apr 27, May 12, May 18
These classes will be held 11:15 a.m.– 12:30 p.m. on Sundays
Required caregiver orientation: October 13th at 12:30 p.m.
Classes: Oct 20, Oct 27, retreat on Nov 9 from 1 – 9 p.m., Oct 22, Nov 17, Dec 8, Dec 15, Jan 12, Jan 19, Jan 26, Feb 9, Feb 16, Feb 23, Mar 9, Mar 16, Mar 23, Apr 13, April 27
End Celebration on May 18th
Please note that these classes will be held 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 or 1:00 p.m. on Sundays with Saturday retreat on Nov 9 from 1 – 9 p.m.
