Join fellow UUs for a tour of the Piedmont Farm Animal Refuge in Pittsboro, a remarkable oasis that provides lifelong care to rescued farmed animals with animal-centered designs and educates people about the realities of animal agriculture. Meet goats, sheep, cows, chickens and more as you learn enchanting stories of animal rescues. Please reserve tickets ($15 or sliding scale) in advance here, as they can sell out! We will meet at the Pavilion at 11 a.m. to begin, but you can walk along at your own pace, as tour guides are stationed at each spot. Email Colleen at colleenreillykane@gmail.com or text at 919-946-8574 if you plan to attend to meet up.
