In recognition of the specific challenges some of our transgender members may have voting, since their legal name and ID may not match their gender identity and chosen name, and the legislative hate campaign which may result in polling places feeling unwelcoming, the UUFR LGBTQIA+ Inclusion Ministry, in partnership with UUFR the Vote, is launching a Transgender Voter Registration Campaign that will begin with a Name Change Legal Clinic on July 21st.
