For more than 50 years, UUFR members have celebrated the New Year at the beach, most recently at Ocean Isle. In summer months in the more recent past, families with young kids also have rented houses at Topsail Island. These long weekends have been opportunities for shared meals, games, jigsaw puzzles, reading, movies and walks along the ocean.
